    Healthy Life

    People are addicted to eat fast foods, thy do not like vegetables and always ignore fruits and these habits are responsible for people are being fat and not living healthy life. I start this thread to know the opinion of the people, so what we should do to live healthy life?

    I'm a definite believer in the power of a healthy diet. When I last went away (to the US, as it happens) and pretty much lived off carbs and cheese for a week, I felt awful when I got back! Normally I eat at least my five-a-day (often more) and make that more veg than fruit, and especially since I've been vegan I make sure I'm eating from all the food groups and getting lots of leafy veg for calcium. That plus a bit of gentle exercise and I feel pretty healthy!

    Even with whatever way we see it fit, keeping up with a healthy lifestyle is something that we should push for. Some people though seem to be stuck with the idea of living a short life with a lot of happier options but I would likely consider looking for that happiness elsewhere while leaving a long life.

    I think that it just depends on what your outlook in life is and there is not much we can say to those who choose not to do that.

    I've known many overweight vegetarian so just being a vegetarian is not enough in it's self.

    I follow the plan of eating everything in moderation (meat products excluded obviously!) I dont see any point in denying yourself something you want, as this just makes you want it more and then you are likely to binge on bad foods. Enjoy all foods, but just make sure your portions are sensible (e.g. have a slice of pizza with half a baked potato and some salad, rather than a whole pizza!)

    I think watching what you drink is important too, a lot of people take in hidden calories in their drinks. I try to stick to water or no added sugar squash through the day, with fruit juice or smoothie with breakfast

    Exercise is important, but I struggle with this due to health problems, just getting out of bed is very difficult for me some days

    Health and Fitness are the most important issues for people. Walking in the figures on a regular basis to cure the disease, also contribute to weight loss. Reduce stress level, Eat fruits and vegetables, Be regular in your daily routine.

    Healthy lifestyle can change your life in good way. You will have more energy, sleep better and will be more relaxed, looking good.
