I think the most positive thing of me becoming vegetarian is that however small my part I am helping animals and this has had a ripple effect as now my family is more conscious of what goes on behind getting their meat and now they have a meat free day every week. If everyone did that it would make a difference xx xx xx

I actually prefer the taste of fresh vegetables to meat, plus it saves me an absolute fortune!

One of the best things about being a vegetarian is being able to know that our carbon foot print is smaller than meat eaters and having another reason to feel superior!

Not having many choices when you go out for a meal, or the usual risotto no imagination. Val

The best thing is knowing that fewer animals are dying/suffering for my diet. The worst things are the lack of choice when eating out and being questioned about why I'm veggie and what I eat!

Smell of bacon frying - still love the smell but couldn't eat it.
