The best part is learning about new ingredients and how to use them.

Best part - that feeling that you're not adding to the world's consumption of animals.
Worst part - like so many others, the smell of frying bacon...oh I miss a hangover bacon sandwich...

    Quorn.

I'll leave it to you to guess whether that's best or worst!

The best thing is that my conscience is clear! The worst is that I'm a connoisseur of macaroni cheese (luckily I like the stuff!) Lack of choice and imagination in restaurants annoys me, laziness a lot of the time I think.

The worst thing is answering 'catch you out' questions, like whether your handbag is leather - as though you are being sanctimonious when you really aren't! The best is veggie Indian food - thank goodness for such a fantastic vegetarian legacy

Being a vegetarian has forced me to be more creative with my cooking. I also love knowing I'm not contributing to dodgy farming practices or animal suffering.
