I usually grate/chop ginger and garlic to make curry pastes, but was having a party for about 70 people at the weekend and couldn't bear to grate/chop that much, so I bought big bags of it already pureed and frozen

"Lazy" chopped garlic is brilliant, because it also avoids the inevitable garliccy smelling fingers syndrome!

I love my ice cream maker. I can make healthy fruit filled ice creams quickly and easily for a fraction of the cost of shop bought ones

Making my Cheesy Potato Pie is so easy with a food processor. I use the different attachments to grate the cheese without catching my fingers, dice the onions without any tears and thinly slice the potatoes so they cook evenly and make a scrumptious veggie meal.

Frozen chopped onions - living by myself often I'd find myself using half an onion then finding the shrivelled up remains at the back of the fridge!

I use a coffee grinder to pre-grind my black pepper, so it's easier to just add a pinch from the pot when I need it.

I microwave frozen items before putting them in the oven. Works great for meat free burgers etc

I always buy lazy garlic and ginger, I truly believe it save money as you only use what you need and don't end up throwing away fresh ingredients. I also use my hand blender all the time for soups and smoothies and even cakes!
