The TV cook and food writer originally trained as a portrait painter, but gave it up to pursue a career in cookery and has published two books: [I]What to Eat Now[/I], and [I]What to Eat Now More Please[/I]. Valentine's love of seasonal foods has made him a bit of a vegetable expert, and led to him creating some rather interesting and creative meat-free dishes that put seasonal vegetables in pride of place.
